We would propose to erect to H.S.E. standards as per guidance note PM27.

Hoist to be tied to Scaffolding every two metres or as per manufacturers recommendations. Scaffold must be of suitable standard for the fixing of Hoist Mast.

Hoist tied directly to building would require the same tie value as if tied to Scaffolding.

If ground level is not suitable a proper Base is to be made to support the Hoist Base Unit.

A two metre high meshed surround to be erected around the Base of the Hoist fitted with a sliding gate.
Sliding signs to be fitted to all landing levels and all gates fitted with appropriate Warning Signs.

A full weight and overload test is to be carried out in our Depot prior to Hoist commencing hire. A H.S.E. F2530 certificate will be issued on completion of installation; full tests and inspections to be carried out at six monthly intervals.

All the above work will be carried out by fully competent personnel. A suitable power supply to be within 50 ft of Hoist Base area.

Basic instruction will be given to designated operators. Operating and Maintenance instructions will be left on site.
